WebCami Cafe, Two Years Later

I can hardly believe two years have passed since I launched this website and started our little Facebook group. I have to say I had no idea how much this community would mean to me. I thought maybe I would connect with a handful of designers and share a few thoughts here and there, but I didn’t expect to build what I believe will be life long friendships and gain so much happiness from our little online hangout.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. If WebCami Cafe were a real coffee shop, I would want to go there every day to work. I would get the same latte, get out my laptop and sit next to all of you. We would co-work, laugh, and solve issues for each other. We would all give and take advice, share client stories and leave feeling supported and happy.

That how I feel when I log in to our Facebook group each week. I feel the warmth of people I know, each supporting each other’s efforts as freelancers.

Thanks for being here. I appreciate you.
